�Howard Zinn, in this chapter, opens up with some of the reasons why did the colonial poor join the cause of the revolution. Similarly, the Shay�s Rebellion is described to portray the inequities and injustice felt on behalf of the veterans of the revolutionary struggle.
�What are some of the reasons based upon one may join up the military today? Are they similar to those of 1775? Do those fighting today for our country experience similar as presented by Shay? Elaborate and discuss.
