Over the next seven weeks, you will contribute to a term project called the Leadership Portfolio. You will complete a portion of the Leadership Portfolio (see file attachment provided below) each week, by following directions provided in the weekly assignment details. Your portfolio content will be a combination of self-reflection, knowledge gained from unit required readings, and identification of growth opportunities for yourself.

In the context of the healthcare industry: Describe three (3) traits a great leader should possess. Provide supporting rationale for why you selected these traits.

In a concluding paragraph, discuss the distinction between management and leadership, and explain why both are necessary in healthcare.
Writing in third person is ideal and generally expected. However, it is acceptable to use first person if you are describing personal or first-hand experience.
